What is the Future Fair?

The Altadena Future Fair is a community-driven event scheduled for May 10–11, 2025, at the Pasadena Convention Center. The fair aims to unite residents, innovators, and local leaders to collaboratively envision and rebuild the community’s future.

The mission is to ensure that every neighbor affected by the fire has access to resources, knowledge, and community support—so no one rebuilds alone. We seeks to bring together displaced neighbors, builders, innovators, and local leaders to facilitate a collective recovery process.

What to Expect

The Altadena Future Fair will feature a variety of activities and resources, including:

  • Speakers + Workshops: Sessions led by architects, community leaders, and material vendors related to rebuilding and resilience.

  • Tradeshow: Exhibits showcasing innovative solutions and services to aid in the community’s recovery.

  • Community Healing Room: A space dedicated to emotional and psychological support activities.

  • Locals Market: A marketplace featuring local artists and retailers who lost their brick and mortar locations.

  • Entertainment: Live performances from community members.

  • Kids Room: A safe and engaging area for children with activities like art therapy sessions, games, face painting, and storytime.

  • MATERIALS

We are excited to showcase vendors who are leading the way in modern, sustainable, and fire-resilient building materials.

We are welcoming companies specializing in non-combustible insulation, lightweight concrete alternatives, solar energy systems, recycled and natural building materials, fire-rated windows and roofing, modular and prefab innovations, and eco-friendly landscaping solutions.

Our goal is to connect the community with trusted, forward-thinking options for rebuilding stronger, safer, and greener homes.

  • BUILDERS

At the Altadena Future Fair, we are inviting community-minded architects, builders, and designers who understand that rebuilding a town is about more than just constructing houses — it’s about restoring neighborhoods, trust, and a shared future.

We are seeking professionals who are collaborative, sustainable, and equity-focused, and who are committed to helping families navigate the rebuild process thoughtfully and affordably.

These builders know that recovery is a collective effort, and they bring both technical expertise and heart to the work ahead.
